This October, Wilson Warehouse is partnering with Front Yard Bikes to support Baton Rouge youth — and we need your help.
We’ve kicked-off the campaign with a $2,500 contribution, a used bike drive, and an invitation for our employees, industry partners and community to take part. Chain Reaction is a new Wilson Warehouse community initiative built around a simple idea: One positive action can create another, and another, and another.
As Stewards of Goods and Community, Wilson Warehouse is using its resources, capabilities and community relationships to support local organizations like Front Yard Bikes, while creating a platform for others to take part.
What started in a Baton Rouge front yard in 2010 has grown into a community organization helping young people learn, grow and build confidence.
Through free after-school and summer programs, Front Yard Bikes uses hands-on learning to teach bicycle mechanics, workforce skills, responsibility, and leadership while creating opportunities for mentorship, recreation and academic support

Give Financially
Your donation helps Front Yard Bikes address its most immediate needs, including progress toward its estimated $50,000 warehouse and roof renovation and the tools, parts and supplies its programs rely on. Your support can help fund:

Donate a Used Bike
Wilson Warehouse is collecting up to 100 used bicycles for Front Yard Bikes throughout October. Front Yard Bikes accepts bikes in any condition. If a bicycle cannot be reused as a whole, usable parts can still support repairs and remaining components can be sold for scrap.
