Co-Founder’s Letter

As Wilson Warehousemen, we are “all for one and one for all.” We take this to heart in the way we’ve cared for our customers and looked out for one another over the past 60 years. And we’ve always felt a higher calling to live that within the communities we serve as well.

Our 4th-generation Baton Rouge roots run deep. Integrity means everything to us, and we hang our hats on delivering on our promises. We are “stewards of goods and community,” which to us means that we don’t just take care of your products, we take care of you. And when we say #WeGotThis, we really mean it.

As stewards, we are devoted to the needs of our customers and invested in creating opportunities that better our community — those who live along our route as well as those who share our professional passion. That is why we, in collaboration with the International Warehouse Logistics Association (IWLA), are proud to be the co-founding sponsors of Supply Chain BR 2021 (SCBR2021), a one-day conference focused on small- to mid-size manufacturers, distributors and supply chain leaders in Louisiana’s Capital Region. And, as a prelude to the conference, we have launched a bimonthly webinar series, Supply Chain BR | Raw, to foster Relevant, Authentic and Well-timed conversations. In all, we are committed to surfacing impactful best practices and enabling business growth..

There are many truths the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic has shone a spotlight on – not the least of which is the fact that small to midsize businesses are the lifeblood of our economy, and supply chain operators are the glue that keeps the wheels of productivity turning. Thus we believe it is our duty and honor to help empower our community’s business leaders to focus their resources on their core strengths — improving customer experience and maximizing profitability – while leaning on local resources, services and support to amplify their productivity and support sustained growth.

And, we are not alone on this journey. Joined by our customers, colleagues, competitors, regional and industry experts, we are excited to convene leaders and foster collaboration through the SCBR events. We hope you’ll join us and be a part of these critical conversations.

Sincerely,

Robert Baldridge
